The Brief in Brief
Pip & Nut came to us with a bold ambition: to launch their new peanut butter-stuffed oat bars in style, while deepening their connection with fans in high-energy environments. As their trusted production partner across 2024 and beyond, we were tasked with designing and delivering unforgettable brand moments that matched their adventurous spirit — from first-of-its-kind festival activations to large-scale sponsorship takeovers. Across the summer and autumn, Pip & Nut needed us to bring their brand to life at two very different but equally high-footfall events — a buzzy festival launch and the iconic Royal Parks Half Marathon. The brief: drive maximum engagement, ensure standout sampling, and create immersive experiences that stick in people’s memories (and taste buds).
What We Did
At both events, we reimagined Pip & Nut’s branded shipping container as a treetop-inspired playground — featuring a bespoke climbing wall challenge that channeled the brand’s cheeky squirrel mascot and got hearts racing. Festival-goers and race finishers alike donned squirrel ears and tails to take on the challenge, aiming to hit the golden acorn buzzer in record time while climbing their way into the brand’s story. For the festival crowd, we kept things fresh with iced peanut and almond butter drinks served through the hatch, and encouraged discovery of the full product range including the ever-popular Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. At the Royal Parks Half, we scaled up with three tailored touchpoints: the central tree-top container and wall challenge; a VIP hospitality tent complete with Toast Bar, massages, and chill-out lounge; and a high-energy Cheer Point pulsing with a brass band and “Squirrel Crossing” signs to lift runners’ spirits.
Why It Worked
Our playful storytelling, attention to detail, and seamless execution brought Pip & Nut’s ethos to life in a way that was culturally relevant, emotionally resonant — and incredibly fun. The result? Thousands of samples, standout visibility, and unforgettable moments of brand connection. By reusing core assets like the shipping container while flexing the experience for different settings, we maximised impact while minimising waste — keeping sustainability at the heart of the build. It’s this mix of creativity, strategy, and long-term thinking that has made our ongoing partnership with Pip & Nut so powerful.
